“Never doubt…

…that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”

Many of us in the nonprofit sector are familiar with these words from Margaret Mead. My co-workers at Women for Development, NGO and I are grateful for donations to our project, Economic Stability Through Occupational Training in Hairdressing from:

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Constance Speake (Armenia 06-09) spoke Wednesday night at the Peace Corps Partnership benefit have you heard of her? Vardenis State College, English. She was apparently good at getting grants for her classroom projects. Great presentation.

Your posts are wonderful. Thank you. Alice Tulley

Good to hear from you Alice. I’ve not heard about Constance. Many of us have been able to get some funds for our projects. Though that’s not our primary purpose here, it is a good skill to transfer to our counterparts.
